An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a well-established educational Trust within Essex as a Temporary EA basis
to Governance Board.
Main Duties: - Supporting by regular briefings, and senior school managers, our clerks attend virtual
- Attending Onsite meetings to assist governing bodies and taking minutes
- Organise meetings, draft agendas, and accurately record minutes with action timelines.
- Conduct research from various sources, maintain confidentiality and integrity, and ultimately make a critical contribution the efficiency, effectiveness, productivity and compliance of the governing board.
Key Skill set:- Some prior experience within a similar governance or clerking role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to work independently, coupled with proficient listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in accurate agenda writing and minute-taking is preferred.
- Flexibility to attend office and meetings (both online and in person) at times convenient to the governing body, typically early evening or during the day.
- Willingness to participate in continuing professional development training.
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly MS Word and Outlook.
