The Role

Our Newcastle Office is currently recruiting for an Early Careers Recruitment Advisor on a 12m FTC.

This position will play a key role within the Early Careers Team. It will focus on leading and assisting with pre-selection and assessment of candidates for a number of the firm's Early Careers Recruitment pipelines and supporting the team's attraction strategy through social media, our website and relationships with media suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-selection and screening of applications

  • Running assessment days

  • Managing the post-offer process

  • Developing and delivering our marketing strategy for target universities

  • Developing content for social media campaigns, our website, and external features

  • Managing the delivery and organisation of our vacation schemes

  • Running diversity events to support the firm's Diversity & Inclusion policy

  • Assisting Early Careers Manager with ad hoc projects

  • Answering enquiries from fee earners and applicants via the telephone or Early Careers inbox

Skills & Experience

  • Experience of working within a busy team and able to deal with people at all levels

  • Highly organised and able to prioritise, and delegate work as appropriate

  • Confident and articulate, strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Positive, proactive and enthusiastic attitude

  • Personally credible and able to gain confidence of internal and external clients quickly

  • Commercial/understands the business

  • Excellent networker

  • Flexibility and a flexible approach to working hours
