Early Years Apprentice

Starshine Nursery is an Good nursery based in Crouch End (N8). Opened in 1990, this small nursery caters for children 2-5 years. Our aim is to provide the children in our care a home from home environment where they can thrive with the support of caring, professional staff.

We are looking for an Apprentice to join our team.

The role involves:

• shifts ranging from 5 hours (part time) to 7 hours (full time)
• Monday to Friday (no weekends)
• work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
• ensure the individual needs of the children are met
• following the nursery’s policies and procedures, including Safeguarding Children, SEND and risk assessments
• maintaining a clean environment
• attending staff meetings and parents evenings
• complete training as required, including first aid and food hygiene
• regularly meet with their tutor
• keeping up to date with coursework set by their tutor

The ideal candidate would have a passion for delivering high quality childcare and committed to completing their Early Years Educator course alongside their working hours.
