Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners? We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Practitioners to join our team in Harrogate. If you're ready to get stuck in, love outdoor play, and are excited to read "The Snail and the Whale" countless times, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years old.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Encourage outdoor play and exploration, providing opportunities for children to connect with nature and develop their curiosity.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, documenting observations and milestones in line with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or Early Years setting.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development.
  • Ability to engage children in creative and imaginative activities, including storytelling and outdoor play.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the nursery team.
