What will you be doing?
If you're an experienced Early Years or childcare professional, this is your opportunity to consolidate your skills and experience and make an even bigger impact. Training and developing the next generation of childcare professionals is a hugely rewarding role. You'll build solid relationships with your students and you'll grow along the way too, whether by gaining new qualifications or applying your knowledge in new ways.
Day-to-day, you’ll work with learners at their place of work to deliver apprenticeship training. That includes providing the support, guidance and motivation that helps them to get career-building qualifications. You’ll also help them to achieve transferable skills (in Maths and English) if needed, managing your own admin along the way.
We'll support you to make the change into a coaching role with training, including in the technology we use, and ongoing mentoring.
What will you bring to the role?
A childcare professional, you'll have lots of experience gained in childcare settings that is relevant and up-to-date. You'll also have:
- At least a level 3 childcare qualification recognised by Ofsted
- Knowledge of the Early Years curriculum framework (EYFS)
- Experience of working in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines
- Strong communication and self-motivation skills
- Experience of working autonomously
- GCSEs English and Maths (C or above or key skills equivalent)
If you also have experience gained at management level, a minimum Level 3 Teaching qualification and/or experience of operating within WBL/education environment, even better.
