Early Years Educator Level 3 - Liverpool (Apprenticeship)

1st Steps Day Nursery are looking for a patient, positive apprentice to complete a Level 3 Early years Apprenticeship.
Whilst working in 1st Steps Nursery you will be required to:-
Ensure the safety of the environment and of all children, reporting concerns immediately to the nursery management team. This includes safeguarding.
Be a key person for one or more children, including monitoring their progress, maintaining records, providing developmentally challenging next steps and reporting to parents/carers.
Plan and lead stimulating and educational activities that engage children through curriculum clubs and trigger boards while adhering to the company curriculum.
Assist in and supporting educational games in the learning environment.
Observe and assess children to help their development.
Work as part of a team of professional staff.
All uniform will be supplied free of charge
Training
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. 1st step Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered through 1st Steps Nurseries dedicated training provider, Realise.

Qualifications required
Grade 4/C in English and Maths preferred.
To ideally hold a Level 2 qualification or equivalent and have experaince in a Nursery.
