Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Main duties:
▪ Assist with the planning of the curriculum using the EYFS curriculum for guidance.
▪ Act as a key person for children within the setting, establishing effective relationships with parents and carers.
▪ Work as part of a team sharing the general duties within the pre-school.
Essential Criteria for applicants:
▪ Full and relevant, Level 2 Early Years education and childcare qualification or equivalent.
▪ Full and relevant, Level 3 Early Years Qualification would be ideal but not essential.
▪ Sound knowledge of EYFS and experience in working with young children.
▪ Extensive knowledge of safeguarding procedures and protocol.
▪ Satisfactory enhanced DBS check which confirms suitability to work with children and be part of the update service.
▪ Paediatric First Aid qualification.
▪ We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff & volunteers to share this commitment.
Hours: to be arranged but will be at least 16+ hours a week (plus hours for record keeping and termly staff meetings)
