TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Nursery based in Plymouth with their search for a qualified Early Years Educator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a cosy and welcoming Nursery with like-minded practitioners to provide the best possible early start for young children. They focus on a child centred approach to learning and prioritise the well-being of their children. It s a busy and thriving environment with lots of opportunities to plan stimulating activities and to create a fun and positive atmosphere.
The nursery is looking to employ a qualified Early Years Educator, on a long-term basis with the opportunity to be offered a permanent position. You will report directly to the Nursery Manager and could be required to work across different ages groups within the nursery. In a time of growth for this Nursery, career progression opportunities are also available for the right person.
An excellent level of communication is required along with a good awareness of Safeguarding, prevent and the EYFS. There are lot s of opportunities to build relationships with staff, children and parents and to also plan exciting and engaging activities that help children to meet their early learning goals. We re searching for a compassionate and reliable individual to fill this exciting role.
The successful Early Years Educator will have:
Level 2 NVQ or equivalent (Required) Level 3 NVQ or equivalent (Desired)
Experience with the Early Years Foundation Studies (EYFS) curriculum
Can-do approach with the willingness to get stuck in
Reliability and a compassionate, nurturing nature
