Early Years Lecturer

• Rate: £30 - £47 per hour (including holiday pay) or perm £30,000-£42,000 per annum
• Location: Bromley area

Day-to-day of the role:

• Delivering engaging Early Years lectures to students in further education settings.
• Preparing lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
• Assessing and providing feedback on student work.
• Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A teaching qualification such as AET, PTLLS, PGCE, or Certificate in Education.
• An assessor’s qualification like A1, D33/D34, CAVA, TAQA, or IQA is desirable.
• Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Early Years or related subject area.
• Experience managing challenging behaviour.
• Proven interaction with 16-19-year-olds in education or apprenticeship settings.
• Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance.
