Your role
As a Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner at The Old Hospital Nursery, your main purpose is to provide high-quality care and education for young children, ensuring their well-being and development in a safe and nurturing environment. Your job will entail planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, observing, and assessing children's progress, and maintaining effective communication with parents and colleagues.
Your responsibilities:
- plan and deliver engaging and stimulating activities that promote learning and development
- observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their achievements and areas for improvement
- build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
You will need:
- a minimum of Level 2 Early Years Qualification or equivalent
- experience working with young children in a nursery setting
- strong communication and interpersonal skills.
