Early Years Practitioner - Babies

Position: Full-Time Nursery Practitioner - Babies Room

Location: Preston, PR4

Working Hours: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Weekly Rota

Salary: 10.85 - 12.35 per hour

Are you passionate about early childhood development? Do you enjoy creating a nurturing environment for infants to thrive? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Full-Time Nursery Practitioner in the Babies Room.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and support to infants in the Babies Room.
• Create a safe and stimulating environment for the emotional, social, and intellectual development of each child.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to engage and educate infants.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure a positive and inclusive childcare experience.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.

Requirements:

• Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare).
• Experience working with infants in a nursery setting.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to the needs of the children.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position on a weekly rota.
• Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:30 pm.
• Competitive hourly rate of 10.85 - 12.35 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.
