Overview
We are seeking a positive, enthusiastic, conscientious and energetic person to join our fantastic team at Bedgrove Infant School Nursery. We need an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our established team as a Key Person.
We have a large term-time only setting that takes 3 and 4 years olds before they start school. We offer ‘outstanding’ practice throughout our setting, which is overseen by an experienced Early Years’ Teacher. Expertise and confidence in working with young children is essential.

Salary Type: Bucks pay
Salary details: BP Range 2 to 3 - £21.879 - £24,310 FTE (dependent on experience)
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 8:10am - 4pm Monday to Friday (Term-Time ONLY)

About the role

To support the wellbeing of our staff, we buy into a package which provides 24/7 access to medical advice for our teachers and their own children through private GP services. Amongst other services the package includes, wellbeing, physiotherapy, counselling, menopause and nurse support.
About you
- Level 3 qualification in childcare
- Keeping a record of the children’s progress to share with parents and other carers
- Building and maintaining relationships with parents and carers to facilitate the daily learning and care of the children
- Providing support to other nursery staff members
- Creating an environment that meets the needs of the children by considering their cultural and medical needs
- Advising the Nursery Teacher about concerns relating to a child or parent while respecting confidentiality requirements
- Adhering to Nursery and School policies/procedures, as well as legislative requirements relating to child care
- Maintaining high standards for safety, cleanliness and hygiene
- Creating fun and educational activities for the children under their care
