Early Years Practitioner

Step Teachers are working with a small chain nursery in North London, they are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their dynamic team in August 2024, this is a permanent position. The nursery would like someone with a level 3 EY qualification but may consider an unqualified member of staff with recent, extensive EY-based experience.  

Early Years Practitioner Role:

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children under your care
• Able to think on your feet and support children's learning & development
• Work effectively with other members of staff and fellow Early Years faculty
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these

Early Years Practitioner Requirements:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is highly desirable
• Have recent nursery or school experience in a support role
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
