Job description

Are you a dedicated and passionate Early Years Trained Teaching Assistant with experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking a skilled individual with a CACHE Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning to work with a school in this vibrant area of Brent.
Responsibilities:
* Provide support and assistance to the Early Years team in delivering high-quality education and care to children aged 3-5 years.
* Work closely with the class teacher to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of children with SEN.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all children feel supported, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
* Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists, to provide a holistic approach to children's development.
* Support children with personal care needs, including toileting, feeding, and managing any medical requirements.
* Monitor and track children's progress, providing regular feedback to the class teacher and parents/guardians.
Requirements:
* CACHE Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
* Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) training and experience.
* Proven experience working with children with SEN, implementing IEPs, and adapting the curriculum accordingly.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and a patient, caring, and empathetic approach.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
