Footprints Learning for Life Day Nursery are looking for an energetic and passionate Early Years Room Leader, who can inspire and lead their team to deliver outstanding Early Years education and care. We are based in the centre of Hartlepool and are in the heart of our community. Footprints LFL are rated good with Ofsted and the Room Leader will be supported by the Management team. We are dedicated to supporting the delivery of quality Early Years education and care for children and their families.

Job Purpose
Room Leader will:
• Inspire and lead your team to deliver high quality Early Years education and care.
• Ensure the day to day operation of the room and ensure all requirements, policies and procedures are adhered too.
• Build relationships with parents and the wider community.
• Support in management of the financial sustainability of the setting.
Requirements
Successful applicants will need:
• A minimum Level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare Qualifications or equivalent and ability to meet all the standards set out in the EYFS.
• EYFS 2024 requirement: employed or internal job changes on or after 4th January 2024 must hold a level 2 Math’s qualification or must achieve one within 2 years of starting the position.
• Proven post-qualification experience in working in early year education and experience of working as a Room Leader.
• Ability to multi-task and establish rapport with staff, families, and external agencies.
• Be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, if your current certificate is not subscribed to the update service.
• Clean driving licence.
• Hold a current Pediatric First Aid Certificate

Preferably 4 x 10 hour days, but negotiable for the right person
