Early Years TA - Level 1

The Canons CE Primary School is a large 3-form entry school situated in Bedworth, we are an outstanding school and the Governors are looking to appoint an experienced Early Years TALevel 1 to work in our new Nursery Provision opening in September 2024 working alongside our Reception Teacher and Nursey SEYE. Experience in supporting Nursery children is an essential requirement We are offering this position on a 1 year fixed term role, with the hope this will become permanent after that. The position will be offered on Scale D point 4 – 5 depending on experience. (Pro Rata – 23,114 - 23, 500)

39 Week Contract
Hours 8 am – 4 pm with ½ Lunch (37.5 hrs) ~We will consider these posts on a part time basis.

The successful candidate will:

• Have an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare & Education or equivalent
• Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Curriculum
• Experience of working with 3 / 4 year olds
• Be a dedicated professional with the ability to inspire children Set high standards for themselves and others
• Work successfully in partnership with parents and our community Be a team player with good interpersonal skills and able to multi-task in a busy environment
• Be energetic, enthusiastic and caring;
• Be able to show excellent organisational and communication skills with both children and colleagues
