The school and role
A primary school in Hyde, are seeking an engaging and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team. In return, the school can offer a friendly environment, with hardworking colleagues and a very supportive leadership team. The appointed Teaching Assistant will benefit from working alongside experienced members of staff and lots of opportunities for professional development. The successful Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. You will have a good understanding of phonics as you will be expected to lead interventions. You must have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and be able to work with the class teacher to create a safe and nurturing environment. This is a full time role starting ion September 2024.
Requirements The desired Teaching Assistant will have:
- Have experience working in Early Years Foundation Stage
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
- Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required
