About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Sunderland. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young learners in their early educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons for Early Years students.
• Provide support to individual students or small groups to enhance their learning.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and learning strategies.
• Assist with the preparation and organisation of learning materials and classroom resources.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role in an educational setting.
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
