Then we have the perfect opportunity for you in our Nursery teams within our children's charity which is based in East London.

We have two fantastic, very busy, Ofsted rated 'GOOD' nurseries. One based in Tower Hamlets E3 and one based in Hackney E9 and we support children and babies from 3 months to 5 years.

The nursery opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm and are open 51 weeks a year, closing on Bank Holidays and one Week over Christmas & New Year

We are providing a variation of opportunities for either a CACHE ,NVQ, or BTEC Level 3 Qualified Early Years Worker (which is our preferred) candidate but we are willing to consider a level 2 qualified person in Childcare/Unqualified Early Years Worker who is working towards a Level 3 Early Years Qualification or who will be willing to upskill their knowledge & skills by studying towards Level 3 in Childcare.

The nurseries work in tandem with each other and there are times when our team members and Managers cross to the sister nursery for support. This is a great learning benefit for our teams to ensure we run fluidly across both services.

What we will require

  • Planning and implementing creative and learning activities in line with EYFS/Ofsted regulations.
  • Being an inspiring person who is able to plan and implement fun and educational activities that will challenge children's learning and development.
  • Working as part of a busy team whilst being able to support colleagues
  • Being able to multitask and manage difficult challenges
  • Ensuring safety and well-being of children at all times by supervising play and learning
  • Having Safeguarding knowledge and following policies and procedures
  • Following Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Carrying out observations of children and planning next steps
  • Writing reports.
  • Being able to support with referrals to outside agencies
  • Interacting with parents and updating them on their child's progress.
  • Having a professional relationship with external partners or outside professionals.

What we are offering

  • Salary: £22,431.00 per annum
  • The successful candidate will be working 37 hours a week on a rotating shift pattern -

The successful applicant will be offered a position at either Bow or Wetherell Nursery.

Please note that any qualifications you hold must be full and relevant as per the Department for Education guidelines.

An enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) will be required for these roles.

You will be required to provide 5 years employment history for references.
