JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Marketing Executive to join the Digital Marketing Communications team to support the promotion and development of Email marketing for our Next Total Platform business!

Total Platform at Next is an exciting new business-to-business online service that offers brands a full solution for eCommerce, including website, warehousing, logistics, customer care, marketing and customer data management. We let brands focus on their product and creative, and we drive their new online business forward including innovations, sales, operations and technology developments.

As the Marketing Executive focusing on Email, you will deliver Next Total Platform email campaigns, spanning from one-time deployments to automated programs. You will support the wider marketing team with their scheduled activities, with the goal of developing into the expert for Email Marketing as you gain training and experience.

What we’re looking for is someone who is a keen problem solver, able to work within a large global team of marketeers.

We can offer hybrid working with part of the week working at Next Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire and part of the week working remotely!

About the role

  • Develop and execute Email Marketing campaigns including the set-up, scheduling, and deployment of one-time, recurring, and triggered campaigns.
  • Work closely with the key teams/stakeholders to create bespoke campaigns to increase sales, drive engagement and retention on email, including external stakeholders and clients.
  • Analyse performance of Email Marketing campaigns to provide actionable insights and improvements for future development 
  • Reporting on all email KPIs generated through Email Marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with the day to day administration tasks

About you

  • Self-motivated & highly organised with the ability to adapt to a changing environment and stay calm under pressure
  • Creative and inquisitive with a thirst to learn more
  • Have a good grasp of modern technologies and keep up to date with email industry News,- trends and updates.
  • Aptitude for attention to detail
  • Able to take direction and deliver tasks accordingly
  • Effective team player; can do attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to confidently communicate and manage expectations with key internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate level user of the Google Suite or relevant alternative
  • Marketing experience ideally gained in a retail environment, working on email, marketing or ecommerce.
  • It would be preferable, but not essential, to have a basic understanding of HTML.
