eCommerce Operations Co-Ordinator - Leeds

If so, this could be the role for you! We have an exciting opportunity to join our Online Last Mile team.

As the Operations Co-ordinator, you will play an integral part in the development of the George.com last mile strategy, analysing how, when and where customer orders are collected and delivered. Reporting into the eCommerce Operations Manager you will identify opportunities to enhance proposition and support the execution of projects which will drive the continued growth of George.com. 

George.com is an integral part of the wider George growth strategy. As the ecommerce landscape continuously shifts, George.com must adapt alongside it, making for a dynamic, innovative, and fast-paced working environment.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and own industry proposition reviews to benchmark service and understand market trends.
  • Support the day to day decision making on propositional changes and update system settings to reflect any changes.
  • Create a comprehensive overview of performance metrics across George.com which drives accountability across the respective business units.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the George.com customer experience from checkout to collection.
  • Support the development of Click & Collect customer propositions in new and existing Asda locations.
  • Develop new proposals for customer delivery options.
  • Support project execution and monitor KPIs against business cases.
  • Support the planning of last mile demand and peak period proposition.
  • Build relationships with cross-functional teams to facilitate the delivery of step change and continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain project documentation to aid projects to be delivered on time and on budget.

 

About You

  • You will have a background in eCommerce or logistics.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets, analysing data and identifying trends.
  • Ability to execute development projects which are aligned to the corporate strategic plan.
  • Able to develop collaborative working relationships and influence across a large cross-functional network.
  • Able to provide clear and concise recommendations from your analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and will work collaboratively across functions to develop innovative solutions.
  • Project management training is desirable but not essential.
