Location: Manchester

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 basic

Hybrid working 2-3 days per week in the office and 2-3 days per week at home.

Role Overview and Responsibilities:

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a local authority that is looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Economics Officer. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's strategy via economic research and data analysis. Undertaking and overseeing the delivery of strategic analysis from multiple data sources, identifying key themes and requirements, to support policy and strategy development and delivery of recommendations.

Working in collaboration with other research colleagues across the organisation, Developing and maintaining a range of future economic scenarios. Acting as the Economic specialist, managing the delivery of research strategy, including the development and collation of economic information. You will be expected to ensure the research programme is managed and implemented effectively, supporting business case creation and demonstrating the economic benefits from the project.

This role is working on a hybrid basis, 2-3 days in the Manchester office and 2-3 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Degree to support your experience with in economics in a business environment.
• A strong track record of developing and applying economic modeling and analytical approaches for business cases
