Smile Education are recruiting on behalf of a “GOOD” school based in Solihull.
They are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who can work with a clear focus on raising pupil attainment whilst embedding the curriculum.
Successful candidates will be able to:
inspire, challenge and motivate all children to achieve;
create an outstanding learning environment;
Tailor the curriculum and teaching strategies to best suit the needs of the children and school;
Be enthusiastic and committed to raising standards;
Work with parents to develop positive relationships and be fully engaged in whole school life.
What your day will look like?
- Leading classes by delivering lessons, demonstrating tasks, assigning tasks, and encouraging discussions.
- Deliver phonics and interventions where necessary
- Prep and support the children’s development and learning ready for their SATS
- Supervising students while they complete tasks independently
- Setting homework or exercises for students to practice their skills after class
- Developing and marking examinations to measure students’ progress
- Assessing and reporting on students’ academic achievements and behaviour
