Position Title: EDS LV Project Delivery Lead
Duration: Contract
Location: Hybrid - On site in Woking 3-4 days per week
Essential Criteria:
Support the Project Leader with all project related tasksInterface to engineering and project management teams to present project status and report on open issuesArrange, facilitate and support meetings with the engineering design teams and assist with documentationFollow up open issues and drive resolution to support program timingEnsure project documents are stored in correct location and accessible to teamCollate and track engineering timing to be incorporated into the programme timing plans.Ensure open issues are resolved in a timely manner by assisting the engineering teams where required.Run and facilitate regular meetings for best practice and lessons learned, to ensure continuous improvementLead the Change Management Process for engineering for the projectInterface to the engineering and project management team to present change management and releasing status and report on open issuesDefine timing commodity plans for all EDS related tasks & releasesTrack progression of each release through the change management systemCreate 'Content of Release' documentation and distribute to teamReview change requests for accuracy and completeness, feedback to engineering team for changes / correctionsCreate, publish and track KPI statusCreate work-orders for each releaseCollate and track draft drawing check statusReview, check and publish finalised drawings inside the customer release systemInterface to CAD releasing team for drawing uploadReview program timing plans and ensure Functional and Cross Functional reviews are scheduled to support program timingDefine deliverables for each FR and CFR and complete checklists with engineering Project LeaderSchedule, facilitate and provide documentation for Engineering Functional and cross functional reviews.Highlight any engineering risks and manage R&O through the team
Requirements
Professional Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or Project ManagementProven experience in EDS Project Delivery within the Automotive industryMin of 3-5yrs experience within the Automotive EDS sectorHigh attention to detail and timing requirementsAbility to communicate at all levels and across culturesSelf-sufficient, self-motivated, proactive and excellent team-playerFlexible, adaptable, diplomatic attitudeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell-presentedHigh attention to detail and timing requirementsAbility to work in a team as well as aloneFluent in EnglishFull Driving Licence UK or EquivalentRight to work in the UK - Valid Passport
