Temporary Education Assistant

KSOL is an award-winning education company that is looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual. The role is with KSOL's Education Team and the successful candidate will work alongside tutors to ensure our students receive a seamless experience whilst studying on our courses.
Ideal Start Date: Ideally Immediate; otherwise, any time between May and early July 2024
Contract End Date: Friday 1st September 2024
The critical aspects of the role are:
- Produce new online content
- Producing new Digital assets using Adobe Creative Suite - training provided
- collating and verifying exam papers
- scanning exam papers and inputting results into the system
- writing detailed exam reports.
- marking homework for the education team
- preparing material for teaching centres
- writing progress reports
- communicating with parents about student's progress
- writing content for our teaching material
Personal qualities
- We are recruiting individuals who can pay attention to detail and work accurately and efficiently.
- You must be focused, punctual, and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Must be bubbly and have the desire to learn new skills. KSOL will provide time for professional development
- Should be able to show initiative in developing teaching material relevant to specific age groups.
- Must be able to communicate well with all levels within an organisation.
- Be able to work within a supportive team environment and work individually toward tight deadlines.
Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
In addition to the above, you will have the opportunity to work with children and use the latest development tools.
The individual will have completed a UK degree or is currently studying for a UK degree. You must also have studied A-level subjects that are heavily maths or English-based, but you must have a grade B (7/8) in GCSE Maths and English.
The role is based on our Solihull Head office and teaching centre in Solihull.
If you have graduated, the role can become a permanent full-time role with additional opportunities and a structured progression path. Graduate starting salaries range from 26k to 31k, depending on the role and experience. KSOL is an inclusive employer that believes in ongoing training and progression.
