Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered Health & Social Care professional to join the newly establishing North Wales CAMH School In-Reach Service. You will work directly with education teams of teaching and non-teaching staff in schools across North Wales in Wrexham/Flintshire, Denbighshire/Conwy and Gwynedd/Ynys Mon to enhance the support already provided by our specialist CAMHS colleagues and other stakeholders.
We are hoping to recruit practitioner/s permanently to contribute to setting up this service in the areas detailed above. You will be based working from home and will have access to an area hub office. As an Education Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing direct CAMH Mental Health consultation, advice, guidance and training to education staff and provide indirect support to the learners attending schools within a given area.
Please note that if you are unable to work full time, alternative work patterns will be considered. Please note that this position works primarily with adults, works indirectly with children by providing consultation, and builds the capacity of education staff to respond to the Mental Health needs of emerging children and young people, knowledge and/or experience of working with people of all ages would be an advantage.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
