About the role and the team
We are currently looking for an Education Officerto work across schools and educational institutions across the North East. You will be based predominantly in Whitley Bay and/or Middlesbrough.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with children, teachers and parents educating them on the risks of becoming homeless and how they can prevent it. You will be responsible for creating engaging content such as workshops, training, or presentations and delivering them within an education setting (schools/colleges/pupil referral units).
This is a unique and rewarding role that focuses on educating pupils, teachers and parents but also focuses on selling and promoting the programme to educational institutions ensuring we hit KPI targets.
Previous experience working in an education setting is desirable.
What will ideally support your success in this role?
- Experience of working with children or from an education background
- Confident in public speaking and creating and delivering engaging presentations/workshops
- Ability to build relationships with people and external stakeholders such as schools
- Experience of designing and developing high-quality and innovative educational resources
- Be self-motivated with a positive and enthusiastic personality, able to work autonomously and carry out efficient organisation and administration
