The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate good knowledge of the barriers that can impact children and young people accessing Education Training and Employment and the organisations that can help to support young people in this area. They will also have sound awareness of safeguarding and Youth Justice legislation.
The postholder will also have strong listening and engagement skills and the ability to advocate for young people’s needs with confidence and empathy. Educated to level 3 and with good IT skills, the post holder must also have access to their own vehicle as they will be needing to visit different educational establishments to facilitate young people’s attendance. This post is also eligible to access a nine-day working fortnight.
