Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for children and young people.
• Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to support students' educational and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create tailored support plans.
• Provide expert advice and consultation to schools and local authority staff.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records in line with local authority policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• A recognised qualification in Educational Psychology.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Proven experience working as an Educational Psychologist, ideally within a local authority setting.
• Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for remote working.
