Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and innovative Educational Psychologists to join our team and contribute to shaping the future direction of our service. As an Educational Psychologist with our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multi-agency team, supporting children, young people, and their families to thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual learning needs, emotional well-being, and developmental concerns.
• Collaborate with schools, families, and external agencies to develop and implement effective intervention strategies and support plans.
• Provide consultation and guidance to educators and professionals on matters related to child development, learning difficulties, and behavioral challenges.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and therapeutic services to promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs and workshops for staff and parents on topics related to child development and mental health.
• Engage in statutory work and participate in projects to inform practice and strategy across Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) services.

Requirements:

• Masters or doctorate level qualification in Educational Psychology and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Varied and relevant experience working with children, young people, and families in educational and other settings.
• Creative and forward-thinking with the ability to apply psychological frameworks to facilitate positive change.
• Strong commitment to inclusion and serving the needs of vulnerable populations.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
