Now Education is an Education based employment company that works with schools across Telford providing them with staff depending on their requirements.
We work with schools with SEN needs who are looking for Flexible staff to pick up part time or full time work around their current commitments to work across our schools as and when required.
We have an established reputation and excellent relationships with our schools and as a result can offer regular work for our staff as often or as little as they would like. While we have a number of full time opportunities we do require additional staff to join our flexi-team that pick and choose when they work around their current commitments. As the majority of our work is school based you will need to be available from 8:30AM - 3:30PM.
We are looking for candidates that possess the following qualities;

Ideal candidates will either have experience working as a teaching assistant, or have transferrable skills from a similar role. For example - sports coach, care assistant, youth work, nanny/ au pair, nursery nurse, support worker.
This role would suit someone who needs a flexible work schedule to accommodate other existing commitments.
Successful candidates will be required to have a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one, and will be required to provide references.BIR
Duties:
- Provide support and care for toddlers with autism
- Assist in implementing educational activities and programs for children with special needs
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members
- Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Help children develop social, cognitive, and motor skills through play and structured activities
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, especially those with special needs or autism
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
