About us:
Europa School of English runs fun and entertaining summer camps for our European students visiting the UK on language holidays. UK Centres for 2024 will run in Bournemouth, Exeter, Winchester, Moyles Court (Ringwood), Tiverton. Students between the ages of 11 to 17 travel to our centres (some University campuses/some private schools) in the UK and take part in lessons in the mornings and trips and activities in the afternoons and evenings. Most students stay in residential accommodation on site, but some are with host families.
Requirements:
- Availability from beginning of July until mid of August (minimum 2 weeks’ availability, preferably more) – specific dates available on application.
- Currently living in UK and/or eligible to work in UK.
- University degree and a level 5 (Ofqual accredited) TEFL qualification, preferably a CELTA or a TRINITY.
- Experience and interest in working with children, an outgoing personality with the ability to lead and motivate young people.
- 2 up-to-date references (which will be checked).
- Participation in Safeguarding training (provided by us).
- DBS certificate or police clearance (not older than 1 year) - to be paid for by us if not available.
- Good organisational and time-management skills, ability to work independently and under pressure.
Remuneration:
- £17.59 per hour for contact-based teaching (3h a day – 9.00-10.30, 11.00-12.30).
- £11.50 per hour for admin work (0.75h a day – 8.45-9.00, 10.30-11.00).
- Usual weekly rate is £306.975 (£263.85 for lessons plus £43.125 for admin work)
- Travel expenses may be paid upon agreement and dependent on location.

- Potential to earn £55 for half-day trips and £110 for full-day trips.
Residential Activity EFL Teacher
As a Residential Activity EFL Teacher, you'll immerse yourself in the complete student experience, delivering English lessons in the mornings and running the activity program in the afternoons/evenings along with our supervisors. This position goes beyond traditional teaching roles, encompassing not only educational responsibilities but also the supervision of young individuals during their leisure time. Requirements:

- First Aid Certificate (8 hours, not older than 2 years)
- Good organisational and time-management skills, ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Sporty or creative, reliable, flexible and open minded.

- 300 GBP weekly.
- Travel expenses may be paid upon agreement and dependent on location.

- Full-board accommodation in the language course centre (university residence/boarding school) for the duration of the contract.
