Efl Teacher - Summer School

Chichester College have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a EFL Teacher - Summer Schoolat our Chichester campus. You will join us on a part, variable hours basisand in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £22.14 - £24.21 per hour.

The EFL Teacher - Summer School role:

As our EFL Teacher - Summer School, you will teach English as a Foreign Language and related subjects on our busy Summer School programmes which run from late June until late August.

You will have a minimum TEFLI qualification as well as experience of teaching and assessing in this field. You need to have a high standard of professionalism, be able to work at a fast pace and cope efficiently with record keeping and other administrative duties. You will also need to have a passion for teaching as well as an innovative and creative approach, with a focus on student learning. You will be able to deliver engaging and inspiring teaching and learning using up to date resources.

Key Responsibilities of ourEFL Teacher - Summer School:

• Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.
• Ensuring that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.
• Undertaking administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters in a timely manner.
• Delivering best practice in curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration British Council guidelines.
• Utilitising CLASS, GEL and other information systems as directed to improve efficiency and the student experience.
• Understanding personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding.
• Attending training on current developments in EFL teaching practice.

Our ideal EFL Teacher - Summer School should have the below skills and experience:

• Current EFL teaching methodologies (including use of ILT)
• Curriculum delivery and associated administration knowledge
• TEFLI qualification
• Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to meet targets and deadlines
• nnovative and creative in meeting the needs of learners
