Position:          EHCP and Transition Coordinator

Location:         Hillingdon Manor School, Uxbridge

Salary:             Up to £28,000 per annum 

Hours:             40 hours per week, Mon-Fri.  Term Time + 5 days

Contract:         Permanent

About the Role

We require a systematic and efficient person to coordinate the review and monitoring of Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Personal Education Plans (PEPs).

The role of the EHCP Officer will be to organise and manage the annual review of Education Health and Care Plans for all students. The EHCP & Transition Officer will work closely with the Education and Admin team to ensure that school is fulfilling it’s statutory responsibilities in line with the SEN Code of Practice 2014. This role will require continuous liaison with key staff within the school, learning providers and multi-agencies to ensure students are receiving maximum support to reach their outcomes.

This is a term time only post, with an additional requirement for five days to be worked during the school holidays as arranged with the line manager to cover Exam Results. Additional duties will include assisting the Administration Department in answering incoming calls, general duties and covering reception as required. The advertised salary is the annual remuneration for these hours, and is not subject to any pro-rata adjustments.

At Hillingdon Manor, we provide specialist education for 185 pupils, aged between 3.5 and 19. Located across two sites. Our Secondary School supports around 125 pupils. Our pupils are taught in smaller class sizes and all pupils work towards a variety of qualifications dependent on their needs and ability.
