Eho/Food Safety Officer

Sharper Consulting Services is working with our client in the East Midlands in their search for an EHO/Food Safety Officer on an interim part-time basis (3-6 months duration) to join their team.

You will be required to carry out the inspection of food businesses (all risk ratings) across the borough and respond to incoming complaints, both programmed and reactive site visits and if required, undertake enforcement action.

In order to apply you must have:

• BSc/MSc in Environmental Health or the Higher Certificate in Food Control
• EHORB registration (or equivalent)
• Have recent food safety experience with a local authority
• Have a completed and up-to-date food safety competency matrix in line with the food law code of practice/practice guidance.
