Job description

EHS Administration Coordinator
Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting a EHS Administration Coordinator to provide administrative support and assist in the coordination and implementation of Health and Safety policies and practices at our clients offices in Chesterfield and Northern Ireland.
Job Duties:

  • Work closely with the Management Team internally and central EHS team to ensure that responsibilities are completed and deadlines for reporting are met.
  • Assist with a range of functions providing administration support for all activities related to the maintenance of health, safety and environmental systems.
  • Support the processes the Company needs to meet its statutory obligations in all areas relating to Health, Safety, Environmental and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
  • Coordinate all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, ensuring they are updated and communicated.
  • Ensure the completion and regular review of all assessments for all work operations and equipment.
  • Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated, and recommended improvements implemented.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety systems and procedures required daily, weekly, monthly and annual are correctly implemented and on schedule.
  • Coordinate safety inspections, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Ensure full and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained.
  • Coordinate and support a full programme of documented health & safety inspections, audits, and checks.
  • Coordinate a structured programme of health & safety training throughout the Company.
  • Liaise with suppliers.
  • Administrative duties which may be required to support office staff including accounting data entry/purchasing and sales.

Requirements:

  • Experience of coordinating, implementing Health & Safety requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience of Risk Assessments.
  • Desirable but not essential - IOSH Managing Safety (or similar course).
  • Preferred - NEBOSH (General Certificate) qualified or working towards NEBOSH certificate accreditation.
  • Willing and able to travel to the Northern Ireland office when required.

Salary: 30,000 - 32,000 Per Annum.
Working hours: 08:00am - 16:30pm Monday to Friday.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
