TTS 24-7 Recruitment is thrilled to partner with one of Scotland's largest and award-winning bakeries based in Glasgow. We are seeking a dynamic Multi-Skilled Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their esteemed team at the Group's Headquarters in Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Multi-Skilled Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will:
• Quickly and effectively address reactive repairs, minimizing production downtime.
• Showcase strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Deliver high standards of workmanship, emphasizing the quality of repairs and aiming to maintain plant assets to OEM condition or better.
• Complete regular maintenance duties in accordance with documented procedures.
• Embrace challenges with a team-oriented mindset.
• Undertake specific Electrical and Mechanical assignments crucial for the smooth operation of the facility.
Qualifications and Skills:
The successful candidate should possess:
• Degree or HND qualification in electrical or Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in bakery/food production/other hands-on engineering roles.
• Knowledge of PLC-based control systems, electrical fault-finding, and the ability to diagnose faults via PLCs.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and understanding of 3-phase and single-phase motors and machines, including testing procedures.

Working Hours and Benefits:
• Salary £40-£50k per annum depending on experience.
• Working Week: Sunday to Friday with one day off during the week.
• On-call responsibilities shared among engineers.
• Hours: Week 1 - Days 06:00-14:30, Week 2 - 14:00-22:30.
• Standard pension contribution.
• 29 days of holiday per year.
