In this role, you will spearhead efforts to ensure the quality and reliability of electronic components through meticulous testing processes. It presents a distinctive opportunity, blending hands-on technical expertise with customer communication and inventory management.
Location / Hours:
You'll be based close to Wokingham, five days per week, free parking available
Mon-Fri 08:30 - 17:00
Requirements:

1. Hardware Testing and Quality Assurance:
   • Utilise oscilloscopes and other electronic test equipment for comprehensive testing on potential faulty parts. Oscilloscope testing experience is essential for this role.
   • Systematically log and track the path of parts from initial receipt through the testing process, ensuring accurate documentation.
2. Customer Communication:
   • Act as a clear and concise communicator, providing updates to customers on the status of their parts through the testing process.
   • Address customer inquiries and concerns, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
3. Inventory Management:
   • Manage the checking in and out of parts in the stores area.
   • Efficiently package parts, preparing them for shipment to headquarters for further testing or back to the customer with detailed test report findings.
4. Process Improvement:
   • Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing procedures and customer communication, contributing to the overall efficiency of the technical support process.

Skills required:

1. Technical Skills:
   • Proficiency in using oscilloscopes and other electronic test equipment.
   • Strong understanding of quality assurance and testing methodologies.
2. Communication:
   • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
   • Comfortable speaking with customers to provide updates and address inquiries.
   • Comfortable speaking with manufacturing sites within the group. All use English for business communication.
3. Organisational Skills:
   • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
4. Team Player:
   • Collaborative and able to work effectively within a team environment.
   • Part of the role will requires assisting in the warehouse when needed.
