Burge Electrical is seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to become an apprentice based in Trowbridge, Melksham, Westbury, or surrounding areas.

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and valuable skills in the electrical trade under the guidance of experienced professionals. As an apprentice, you will work alongside our skilled electricians on various projects, learning the fundamentals of electrical systems, installation techniques, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Learn and apply proper techniques for using power tools, hand tools, and electrical equipment.
• Learn to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to understand project requirements.
• Gain hands-on experience in wiring, circuitry, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Participate in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems and assist in implementing effective solutions.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license.
• Residency in Trowbridge, Melksham, Westbury, or surrounding areas.
• Current enrolment in college or willingness to enrol in the next upcoming term.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in the electrical trade.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals.
• Commitment to safety practices and regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
