Electrical Assembler
Location: Southend-on-Sea

Key Responsibilities
To read wiring diagrams, cut wires, solder, crimp and assemble accordingly.
To test products to the customer and company requirements.
To fault find and repair products to customer and company requirements.
Assemble major riveted structures.
Assemble major mechanical assemblies.
Assemble minor mechanical assemblies.
To carry out riveting of assemblies.
To carry out electrical sub-assemblies.
Strip sown and repair customer returned products.
To read engineering drawings and assemble products to quality requirements.
To carry out duties in a proper and efficient manner, act wholeheartedly in the interest of the company and comply with company rules and regulations.
Responsible for ensuring a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
To support other team members with other tasks as and when necessary.
To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published health and safety procedures.
To carry out other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required.
Experience and Skills
Assembly experience
Ability to use hand tools, including rivet pliers/gun
Experience in electrical assemblies
Ability to read engineering and wiring diagrams
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Working Hours
Full-time hours: 39 Hours
Mon - Thurs: 8:00 - 17:00 (30 mins lunch)
Fri: 8:00 - 13:00 (no lunch)
