Electrical Assembler / Assembly Operative / Training Provided

Electrical Assembler / Assembly Operative with effective communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines, who can follow and understand instruction and has a good level of physical fitness is required for a well-established and reputable company based in Batley, West Yorkshire.

Some Electrical Assembly experience would be preferred, but is not essential as training will be given for the right candidate

SALARY: Competitive + Shift Premium

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent - Shift work

WORKING HOURS: Working a 2-shift pattern as follows:

• Week 1 - Monday to Thursday, 6.00am to 3.00pm and Friday 6.00am to 12.30pm
• Week 2 - Monday to Thursday Afternoons, 2.00pm to 11.00pm

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Electrical Assembler / Assembly Operative with effective communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines, who can follow and understand instruction and has a good level of physical fitness.

As the Electrical Assembler / Assembly Operative you will be assembling components for and to various Fire and Rescue Vehicles, within a busy manufacturing environment.

The Electrical Assembler / Assembly Operative will generally work a day shift role on a 2 week-shift pattern (no weekends). Training will be on the dayshift.

DUTIES

Your duties as an Electrical Assembler / Assembly Operative will include:

• Assembling Electrical control systems

• Installing electrical harnesses, emergency lights and other components

• Following and understanding instructions and direction

• Inspection and quality control

• Be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety Policy

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in a similar role would be preferred, but is not essential

• Be able to work as part of a team or independently as required

• The ability to work to deadlines

• Due to the nature of the role, candidates should have a good level of physical fitness
