Are you an electrician wanting to come off the tools, or give back with your experience?
My client is looking to hire qualified electricians, who’d like to play an important role in helping our apprentices achieve their qualifications. If you don’t have previous assessing experience, full training will be provided.
The Role:
Working as part of a training team, you’ll be allocated a ‘case load’ of apprentices to guide through parts of their Level 3 Diploma.
- Aiding, teaching and supporting electrical apprentices
- Managing allocated case load
- Visiting apprentices on site and reviewing written and practical work
- Planning and organising apprentice case load efficiently and effectively
- Providing constructive and detailed feedback to case load on apprentices
- Undertaking related administration
The person:
- Qualified electrician (JIB Gold Card standard) with at least three years’ experience
- A well-organised, tenacious approach, with the ability to manage your own workload
- A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
- Strong communication skills, particularly when dealing with young people
- Good IT skills (MS Word, Outlook & Internet)
- Happy to travel across the region for allocated case load

Working hours will be 39 hours a week, based on 8 hours a day Monday to Thursday and 7 hours on Fridays, with an hour for lunch each day.
