Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Report directly into directors
• Wholesale experience requried
• Coordinate site requisitions and execute orders in adherence to company protocols.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of requisitions with precise product coding and cost allocation.
• Secure competitive quotes from suppliers, considering lead times and terms.
• Proactively manage urgent deliveries and back-orders, maintaining a supplier backorder database.
• Maintain up-to-date purchasing trackers and procurement systems.
• Collaborate with design engineers on quotations and product selection.
• Prevent over-ordering through diligent bulk order checks.
• Facilitate site visits to liaise with supervisors and manage material call-offs effectively.
• Manage returns and credits with suppliers, keeping procurement trackers accurate.
• Ensure compliance with warranty and safety standards for all procured products.
• Serve as a liaison between suppliers, site teams, and the Purchasing Manager.
• Attend procurement meetings and provide timely information as required.
• Handle invoice inquiries promptly to maintain smooth payment processes.
• Adapt to additional duties as necessary to support procurement efficiency.
