EC&I Technician
c £50K + Bonus (15%) + Generous Pension (9%) +Life Assurance
Liverpool base with occasional travel
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced EC&I Technician to join the Engineering Team at a Merseyside based bulk liquid storage company.
Reporting into the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the maintenance of all EC&I equipment and systems across industrial plants within the group.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure all E&I equipment is effectively maintained to ensure maximum plant reliability
Inspection, maintenance and calibration of fixed and mobile equipment
Installation and commissioning activities
Attend breakdowns and perform planned and pro-active maintenance
Support upgrade and improvement projects
Loop checking and interpretation of technical drawings
Complete inspection reports
Liaise with equipment suppliers and carry out purchasing
Key requirements:
Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical / Control / Instrumentation Engineering (min HNC)
Experienced gained in a med- heavy industrial environment
Experience of working with boilers, pumps and associated equipment
Min of 5 years' experience in an E&I Maintenance role
Knowledge/experience of process plants, control loops, SCADA systems
Ability to interpret electrical distribution and control systems including P&IDs
Excellent verbal, written and problem-solving skills
Able to prepare technical reports and plan work
IT literate
Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility to travel to other sites
