WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EC&I ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE WORKING IN HIGH HAZARD INDUSTRIES TO JOIN A GROWING AVIATION PROJECT
- Hybrid Role - 2 days a week on-site in Bristol, Epsom, Aldershot, or London
- Salary up to £70,000 DOE
- Active SC is preferred but can provide SC prior to starting

WHAT WILL THE ELECTRICAL & CONTROL ENGINEER BE DOING?
The position entails contributing to the conceptualisation of Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) system solutions for our clients. Our clients are heavily Nuclear, Aerospace or Defence focussed so these systems range from straightforward and traditional EC&I hardwired systems to intricate multi-panel systems with substantial programmable components, often deployed in safety or security-sensitive environments.
Additionally:
- Engage with clients to understand technical needs and develop successful working relationships.
- Verification of junior engineer's EC&I technical documentation.
- Assist with technical input for proposals/tenders.
WE NEED THE ELECTRICAL & CONTROL ENGINEER TO HAVE…
- Knowledge and experience of a broad range of electrical control equipment and its application in automated and safety related systems.
- Good knowledge of process systems and how to control them.
- Knowledge of electrical and safety sector standards including BS EN 61508.
- A good understanding of the safety lifecycle for EC&I safety systems.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and system integration, HMI and SCADA configuration and development, software testing techniques and experience of installation and commissioning of PLC / SCADA systems.
