Form of workWe are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Controls Engineer to join our client, a well known consultancy known for their dedication to enhancing manufacturing processes within special purpose machinery businesses. As part of a dedicated group of engineers, you will contribute to providing innovative solutions for diverse manufacturing industries.
This role is ideal for a Controls Engineer with around 4 years or more of industry experience. The suitable candidate holds a degree or higher qualification, demonstrating proficiency in control system design and a strong background in Siemens and Rockwell programming software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design control systems, including electrical schematic drawings (preferably EPLAN).
- Test control panels and program drive systems (ac drives, servo drives, dc drives).
- PLC programming and commissioning.
- Plan and supervise control panel installations.
- Conduct fault finding on existing control systems.
