Their services include unit load conveying, sorting technology, automated storage and retrieval systems, controls, warehouse management systems, and IT integration.
A bit about the role:
- Working closely with the Controls department, you will be responsible for managing projects through the hardware design phase, and creating schematic drawings for control cabinets using EPLAN
- This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer who's skilled with Siemens and Allen Bradley platforms such as Step 7, TIA Portal, and Logix5000.
- The Electrical Design Engineer would be here to manage project tasks like creating, renaming, and backing up.
- Structure projects correctly using EN(phone number removed) coding & organize different page types efficiently.
- Create macros with proper symbology and assignment.
- Utilize navigators for easy navigation.
- Review internal and external design outputs.
- Specify electrical components for various applications.
- Have experience in conduct power calculations and project budgeting.
What’s required:
- Knowledge of EPLAN is essential
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable
- Extensive knowledge of PROFINET or EtherNET/IP networks for distributed
- systems
- Extensive knowledge of automation architectures and network layers
- Must be totally conversant with either Allen Bradley or Siemens control systems
- Electrical biased apprenticeship
- Holding an HND in Electrical Engineering or higher
- Having at least three years of design experience
