Due to continued development and expansion our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team of mechanical and electrical engineers. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our projects, ensuring that our designs meet the highest standards and comply with current regulations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a team of experts and contribute to our clients continued success.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Carry out Building Services Electrical Design, including design calculations.
- Prepare tender documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Attend design team meetings and on-site progress meetings.
- Ensure that designs comply with current regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and write comprehensive reports.
- Perform electrical load assessments.
- Handle Statutory Supply Authority applications.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- A collaborative approach is essential; you must be a team player.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in the electrical services industry with design knowledge.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Revit (preferable but not essential).
- Experience with Electrical Design software packages such as Relux/Dialux, Trimble Pro Design, etc.
- A full driving license.
