Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
⦁ Design and draw electrical control circuits (to relevant British & European regulations) on an electrical CAD package.
⦁ Development of electrical drawings from new sheet through to red line updates of electrical drawings
⦁ Project management of all aspects of machine Electrical Design
⦁ Liaison with customers (internal and external) and suppliers
⦁ Select components & cables, taking into account all circuit and environmental conditions
⦁ Adherence to internal and regulatory electrical drawing system and standards
⦁ Contributes ideas / innovation for continuous improvement on machine design

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
⦁ HNC/D or Degree Qualified in Electrical Engineering
⦁ 5-10 years’ experience in an engineering / design office
⦁ Experience in design of electrical circuits and control panels
⦁ Experienced in the use of an Electrical CAD package
⦁ Knowledge of control panel component & cabling selection
⦁ Knowledge of relevant British and European EN Regulations
⦁ Good verbal and written communication skills
⦁ Self-motivated with a desire to achieve high standards

Located in Lancashire, this role would be commutable from Bury, Rawtenstall, Manchester & Bolton.
