Your new company
- Working for a UK leading property company based in Eltham.
- You will be working on behalf a modern progressive multi disciplined construction consultancy working within a demanding environment.
Your new role
- Working in a hybrid role working Mon – Fri (8am-5pm)
- To maintain and produce designs which comply with the relevant regulations, company procedures and company standards.
- Actively participate in co-ordinating with other design team members as part of a multiskilled team (both internally and externally).
- To prepare detailed specifications, drawings and schedules etc for all electrical services to provide clear, comprehensive contract information that fully conveys the design requirements.
- To carry out site surveys and conduct commissioning and testing where appropriate.
- Pass design knowledge to colleagues and support more junior colleagues in their training.
- To prepare budget estimates, cost planning and tendering procedures and contract arrangements.
- Attendance at various project/technical meetings and the taking, preparation and distribution of Minutes (if required when acting as lead consultant).
- Undertake Project Team Leader Role (including resource management, fee management and fee forecasting in accordance with internal procedures).
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ Years experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer
- Membership of IET or CIBSE and/or depth and breadth of knowledge and competence commensurate with this position.
- Attending Core Competencies and internally/externally run CPDs in order to achieve the required recommended CPD hours per year.
- Ideally qualified to a Degree level in Electrical Engineering.
